Why Support Act of Life?
We supply our adoption resources free of charge to pregnancy centers.  Some of these resources can be seen on our resources page. Counselors will use these printed resources for prompts when talking about adoption and then leave the materials with the women to take home with them for reference. We also cover the mailing costs of these resources.  We desire to further develop these resources and continue providing them for free!

Our adoption workshops provide much needed adoption education to pregnancy centers.  Adoption is a difficult subject to talk about if you don't know the facts and/or have pre-conceived ideas that effect objectivity.  Our training equips counselors to talk about adoption as a parenting choice to a woman experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Pray about that pregnancy center near you. Maybe they need an adoption workshop to be sponsored for them!  Contact us for more information on sponsoring an adoption workshop at your local pregnancy center. 

We are developing an "adoption manual", which is desperately needed by pregnancy centers and prospective adoptive parents. It is a sad fact that there is a distinct lack of biblically based adoption information. We aim to rectify this with a comprehensive manual that covers all aspects of adoption and referral services, and serves as an essential tool for counselors and prospective adoptive parents alike.  It is our goal to make this adoption manual affordable for pregnancy centers and prospective adoptive parents. This project needs financial assistance to make it a reality. 

Act of Life has one paid, part-time, staff member.  The ministry is blessed to have staff and volunteers who are willing to do whatever it takes to get a job done. With staff and volunteers also come office lease payments, utilities, Internet and phone bills and all the other overheads of running an office. 

We have become experts at finding the most cost effective - or free - methods with which to run this - God's ministry - but some things just cost money! We are dedicated to being good stewards of the funds that we receive from those who share our passion for being a voice for the orphan.
